 I used despeckle and did a levels adjustment, then converted to grayscale. I applied a Gaussian blur to emphasize the idea of being unclear on what decision to make.

Soft focus is a tad too soft here... Compositions and concept are good, but the lack of focus killed this shot for me... But that's just me, and what do I know :)

This picture is blurry. That may be the point but it's still too blurry for me.

I like the composition of this image. The use of black and white is effective too. I think the blur does not really enhance the image though.

Good idea, but it looks like you got too close to focus. Make sure you use the macro setting for a shot like this if you have one.

Challenge link: weak.

Image critique: this is very unappealing to look at. It looks like a very poorly taken shot and frankly I'm quite baffled that this could not have been improved prior to submission. It may jsut about meet the brief but what is someone to think about this? If it's not desirable as an image you will quickly tire of it in your challenge photo list.

Out-of-challenge appeal: none.

I think if the picture wasn't out of focus you might have had something here. But it just doesn't work for me in this stage.

Photo is a little blurry. Although the black and white nails and shirt. go perfect together. If the photo was sharp and a little different lighting. It would be a 9. but i am giving it a 5 for being out of focus

Certainly a interesting interpretation of the topic, but ouch - that is so out of focus!!!!
