Very cute. Nice picture. I like the upside down idea. How di d you get your cat to do that??

Cats make purr-fect pictures no matter what, I agree. The viewpoint choice is unusual. Creative points for daring to venture into a different perspective. Beautiful golden eyes, whiskers and goatee. I applaude your effort to capture a family pet in a candid manner as opposed to a stiff planned studio type setup. Informal shots bring out the character and nature of the subject. I take hundreds of shots of our kittens before I get that magical image. If I could suggest a few minor points to consider. Perhaps simplify your background to one tone contrasting with the color of your subject. Eg. play with your cat near a suitable colored blanket. Allow reasonable space around your subject. Enough room so the subject does not look cramped and can visually breathe ( unless you desire to make the opposite popint ). White is hard to expose for, especially with flash as it flares to zero detail easily. A bright side window with sheers or a cotton sheet for diffusing light gives gentle ample lighting with nice natural tones. Keep up the good work.

Your cat has a goatee :) Picture is rather over exposed.

Composition: Background bottom-left seems to confuse the pic a little.
Technical: Excellent focus and colour.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Good subject and shot, background/composition lets it down a little. 6
