I'm really shocked how many folks don't get the picture/title/transition, even with the details-comment. The tree on the right has been burned. Next to the burned tree, we have a young sapling - the arboreal equivalent of, say, an elderly person holding their newborn great-grandchild. I like it. |

I am not sure if you played around with levels or not, but the green seems almost too green. |

Don't understand the title, but it is a beautiful, peaceful place you have photographed. |

At first, I didn't like the way this shot was framed, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. |

From small acorns mighty oaks grow. Technically not oaks but you know what I mean) |

Beautiful colors! But not quite about 'transitions' |

Love the use of the foreground. Well done. |

the framing seems a little odd, I would have liked to see more of the tree in the foreground, pulling back from the scene a bit and letting grass show on the other side of the trunk |

I thought I understood what this picture meant until I read the title. I don't get it. Besides that the picture isn't too bad but it doesn't do anything for me. |

Not sure I get the Transition. |

I like the idea. I'd like to see more of the tree though. It seems like it should be the main part o the image, taking up more than 1/4 of it.
I do like the forest in the background, but there should just be less of it. |

see your point but eye not lead to it - maybe using trunk as backdrop would have made sappling stand out and focussed eye on it. |

lovely colour in this picture, a really rich green, and good clarity make this one stand out |

This is a nice transition back to green from the devastation of a fire... Good eye to catch this shot! Nice composition as well... |

This is a pretty shot. Nice composition. Not too sure if I get the title or realtionship to transitions. |

This really illustrates transition very well - I like that you took that into account unlike alot of others!!! |

new life at the base of the tree ? Shot needs to be much tighter on the little plant IMHO |

I like the way you centered the picture and got a big tree from afar and a small one up close. Nice transitions. |

The transition of burnt to new bark? Hmm... |
