Hi Ellen! I just wanted to tell you that this is my overall favourite picture from this challenge. He reminds me of a very young Stevie Ray Vaughan. I love the expression on his face...very beautiful. Congratulations on your top ten finish! I would frame this one. :)

Wow! How totally awesome! This is as good as winning a ribbon, I tell ya! Can't wait to show my son (he's sleepin right now) how his portrait placed. He told me earlier tonight that he wants to be the greatest guitar player in the world, he's taking lessons, and he practices every day. I'm so very proud of him! :-D

| This is such a sweet photo. It looks like you did some selective blurring, so I'll be back to see how you accompllished this after the challenge. Don't get me wrong, I love the blurring. It really enhances the photo by bringing you attention straight to the chlilds face and to the guitar. 9 |

| angle is a tad bit high. great subject, crop, and light level. I am not a fan of the blurry aura though |

| Great! Very nice post-processing with mix of sharp and soft. Love the brown tint and most of all love the light on the eye which really grabs the viewer. |

| Perhaps a more interesting backround would nail this shot, if only he had been sitting on a porch somewhere but I love the shot, the softness in it makes it work. |
