A very tired technique, but i really like your idea of the moving water in the center, also nailed the composition and colors, very neat shot, favorited.

Just joined. I clicked on Sigma SD9 and it took me to the page with highest rated pictures. Superb studio/computer work, this image stood out from all the rest on the page.

Congratulations on your top 10 :) I was curious how it will do - hoped for better position, but the competition was really tough. Great.

will be interesting to read about how you did that. If you just moved the glass and clicked at the right moment I'm impressed. In how many tries?

This seems to be a standard for still life. Atleast you have some motion in the picture.

Great. I wish I could vote. It reminds me of "Two tone tonic" by Jim Setzler.

Okay, tell us your secret. How'd you get the water to move while capturing the shot? :-) Nicely presented. Good colors and lighting. Gave you a 9.

this is quite deceptively dull. initially i thought, fer godsake, this has been done COUNTless times before - 1!. but you've added another dimension to this by what you've done with the middle glass. to be hoenst, the glasses on each side are a little superfluous, and do not add anything to the shot. the sharp focus of the middle glass draws ones eyes automatically to it, and as a result the other ones are barely registering. i think that the boldness of the colours are a bit too aggressive. but i also think that the slosh is a great touch... 7.

Seen similar shots before but this one I can'f fault. Love the movement in the center glass add so much to what would other wise be a static shot. 10

A different approach on a well known subject.
Every time it looks different.
They say it's difficult to take a shot like this, have to try once.

Great job (7)

You've got yourself a winner here. I love the splashing of the water more than any other single element. The focus left me with a papercut :) ouch! 9.
