| This was my first attempt at a DPC challenge. Personally I'm confused at the 10's I received. Its an old rusted emergeny gear box for an old truck. I wanted a red rose but only had yellow left in the garden. My thought was to have a fresh lively rose hanging out of and old rusted chest. I though the candle light would add some atmosphere to the photo, and hide the fact that the Box wasn't hollow. I was not happy with this shot but I think I might try the concept again with a beetr box and lighting. |

| hard to tell whats going on and seems a bit out of focus, perhaps some better lighting would help the focus, get creative with the angle it makes it much more fun |

| i do like dark photo's.. but this one is a bit too vague, or tough to tell what it is to get a 'feel' for it. I think more context would be good... perhaps taken from a little farther away would help... or from a different angle.. |

I can't realy make out what this is, its a rose with something.
I think it's just to dark. (no my monitor is adjusted). |
