Very nice idea; should have got one halfway out the door too. Also, and more simply, should have been corrected for color balance/color cast. This is very yellow. |

I really can't make my mind up.
I see what you are getting at. The rushing in the morning - drinking - eating etc.
The only problem is the light colour.
Warm colours like this give the impression of slowness and calm and that contradicts (I think) the principle of what you are trying to get across.
I have changed the colour balance in photoshop - to give it a daylight shift and also a flourescent shift and it seems to give it that sense of urgency.
Was your camera set up for auto-white balance?

Good story telling in this image. The lighting is too flat though. Oh, if only we all had good lighting equipment. (I don't either) |

Great idea, the white balance is way off though and I find that a drawback. Still I gave it a seven. |

I get the "passage of time" theme, but it would work better if the hands on the clock in the background were in varying positions as well - I know that for this excersize it would be imposible to do, but then you need a vantage point where the clock is not in view. |

Got a kick out of this shot! reminds me of when the school bus was honking out front of the house, and the kids were still in bed! Nice execution! |

This is a really nice setup with excellent lighting for a shot that meets this challenge perfectly. Great job.

The really orange cast doesn't appeal, I think I would have liked a color corrected version. (6) |
