Thanks for the comments. As hokie said the gravestone iteself is angled. Maybe I should have chosen a different stone, but oh well. But in general I made people think, and thats better than making people feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, like most people's pictures here try to do. So it was a success. |

I see the comments about eh headstone angle but remember guys, the background is at the correct angle (trees, ground etc ) which told me that the headstone was naturally angled which added to the interest of the shot.
Easily the most thought provoking shot here and my favorite. Can you make a hi rez image available? |

Yeah, I really like this one. The black and white is very effective. What if the background was blurred a little bit so you could still tell there are tombstones back there. It might make the foreground stand out even more. |

good idea. The tombstone is leaning just a bit, b&w is good for this shot |

I know this might sound strange, but the two hands don't seem... "intimate" enough? I think I would prefer to see both of their hands like in a real wedding ceremony. |

This photo makes me think... I'm divorced... :( but it had nothing to do with photograph ;) I also love black and whites and your 'tranistion' concept here is getting you a good score. Only suggestion I could make is to straighten up the stone in the frame a little... nice job! |

I really get what is trying to be said here...This is obviously a couple of men's hands...In a cemetary...This is great stuff and great irony...Hopefully this will signal the end of gay wedding proposals in cemetaries |

At first the image disturbed me a bit for some reason. The mariage ring and headstone are a perfect match and I like the great depth of field here. Probably my favorite image here and wouldn't mind if you could provide for a larger high eefinition version for my files. |

One of the better subjects in this whole contest. The picture is kinda grainy. Is that intentional? Did you try different camera angles or try this same shot during different times of the day to give the hands slightly more interesting shadows? The lack of shadows suggest that this shot was taken at noon. |
