| Nice vertical layers, here, with the grass echoing the snow echoing the water and the reflections adding interest to the center. A little drab. I gave it a five. Predict a 5.3. |

| A good photo with good leading lines. Still it lacks a real "draw". The leading line doesn't really lead you to any subject. To me the trees are a bit dark, and I'm on a high-color monitor which tends to reveal anything. I think you're close...5.8 |

| The main leading line of the water has nice contrast with water/snow.The blank sky doesn't seem to help the image much. I estimate this to end at 5.72, therefore I vote a 6. |

| I like the composition here. The tones are bleak as per the winter scene; perhaps you could wring some more interest by bumping detail in the sky and boosting colours to make it pop a little more, but if bleak was what you were going for, you nailed it! 5.45 |

| It is begging to be a landscape. The oily-dark river, cold and lonely - a great subject - I would love to see more grass and texture and something in the foreground. 5.4 |
