All of the critiques were correct, and I thank you for them.. It is nice to know the comments were all pretty much consistant.

Yes I added fill because the wings were too dark and yes, I heavily cropped it. I think sacrificing was not such a good idea after the fact, but I loved the fact I was able to get one flying right above me.. Thank you for making this a great fun challenge! I enjoyed it

Exposure is good though I always wish I could see more detail in a capture like this. Nice sharp in-flight capture, too. I gave it a five but would have gone higher - not a six, though. I predict a 5.5

Good bird capture...seems a bit flat. You may want to try tweaking curves for contrast and setting the white point in levels. 5.8

If this was sharper you would be a shoe in for the 6 guess. Catching motion sharply is tough. Keep it up

I think that your guess is closer than your wish. The bird has quite an eclectic placement in the frame that I quite enjoy but the lack of detail in most of the wing parts, the noise and the dust spot are likely to hurt your score I think. Consequently I think you may be around the 5.1 mark.

Birds in flight are always a tough shot, this one looks nice and sharp, but the crop is a little too centred, try cropping it using the rule of thirds, I find that it gives the negative spaces more of an appeal. more detail on the underside of the wings would have brought this closer to the six you're wishing for. I concur with your guess of 5, Good Luck

Five from me. It's nicely composed but noisy and the underwings are too dark and undetailed. (That's probably mean, because I can't shoot birds, lucky if they even end up in my picture.)

Why not a six? Eagles in flight are usually good scorers, and this is a perfectly decent one. I'm going to go with 6.02

With a little more detail, light, contrast, I would guess closer to 6 too. But as is, more closer to 5.75.

Birds in flight are really difficult to capture, so well done! I do feel the image lacks a little pop and wonder if processing may bring out more detail in the bird... 5.67

Looks a bit grainy and the whites are not very white.
I think your guess is a bit low, eagles usually score pretty well.
