The sun is from my desk at work. It has taken a couple of years of USPS Rubber Bands to get that big. I added the red and yellow and white. I bought 5 rubber band balls and made the Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune out of them. I made Mercury, Venus, the Earth and Mars by hand.
Later!

Well it certainly has been a while. I did not think it would ribbon when it was at 6.25 late yesterday afternoon. But a 6.09? Wow! Later!
***************************************
The smaller balls were hung around the large one using black thread in front of a black velvet background. The large ball was set on top of a box covered by another piece of black velvet.

Nice idea worth exploring more. I find the planets too evenly lighted and the execution is a little schematic

Creative. I see you are current with today's interpretation leaving Pluto out. I personally think we should still call it a planet. Anyway, nice lighting and arrangement.
