 Needless to say, I'm surprised this ribboned with such a low score, but I'm happy that it did. :)

The reason the look of agony on my face is so convincing is because the pain was real. It took about 10 minutes to get all these rubber bands on my face...I wanted to put more on the bottom half but it was so painful by then that I had to just take a quick handful of shots before yanking them off. The skin on my face stayed red and very sensitive for a good 6-7 hours.

I know a lot thought it looks pretty disturbing and actually I agree, it looks unsettling to me, too.

Being someone who did the same style shot, and not half as well, I commend you and I really liked the feel of the shot. I particularly liked the red rawness of the eye. There is a prisoner of war -Gitmo meets mummy feel here as well, and the lighting is spot on as well.

(If this all occurred in front of an impossibly beautiful tropical harbor sunset, you avg score might have been 8.5)

Not sure my wife would let me hang it on the wall, but good lighting and dramatic effect. The framing is excellent also. Nice work.
