The composition is just a bit strange for me, and a bit of motion blur is evident. Nice color and the water looks great.

I know there is some motion here, both from the bird and from the water. I just am not attracted to the image. It has this big brown area intruding on the lower left and the actual duck is really hard to "see". It is only after really struggling with it that you realize that is it's RIGHT eye and the head is inverted over on it's side to be scratched. And the brown part toward the back of the duck seems out of focus. It's just not a comfortable image for me to ponder. Good luck in the challenge, though.

this is a really nice photo. I particularly like the concentric ripples of water around the duck and the odd position of the ducks body. Colors are good too. Two gripes I have with the picture are that I think focus could be better, or higher shutter speed used, and the distracting piece of land in the lower left. Other than that, I like it.
