It has been a busy week preparing for and traveling to a conference in San Antonio. About the only time I had to shoot was the afternoon I landed in San Antonio. On a beautiful sunny Saturday I figured I would see a few bikes. There were lots of pedestrians but no bikes. I returned to my hotel room figuring I would have to sit out this challenge. Then I heard something outside and went to the window. Twelve floors below me and two blocks away a group of about two dozen motorcycles rumbled to a stop outside a Denny's restaurant. They seemed to just be just talking there. I debated a moment whether to try to head down -- assuming they would have roared off by the time I got there. But I grabbed my camera and headed toward the elevator. Just as I got to the Denny's they were starting up their bikes to head off. I quickly fumbled with the settings of the camera hoping to get a decent pan and I fired off eight shots as they pulled out. This was the most interesting shot of the meager collection.
