Self portrait. Bought some sunglasses at a toy store for $2.50, borrowed some jewelry from my 16 year old daughter, and stole a Oscar the Grouch T-shirt from my 19 year old son's laundry basket.

I was feeling pretty good about myself when littlemav commented I looked like a young Robert Wagner. A little less so when Jutilda mentioned I looked like Will Ferrell.

LydiaToo suggested I crop out the dog. Actually, the seat cushion on this couch is white faux fur. It is a bit of a funky couch. But she is right I should have left enough cushion to understand what it is or cropped it differently.

Beeeeg smile. Thanks.

Payback time from the kids for all the things they "borrow". Top it off by making this their Facebook profile image. Hehe.

Congrats on the Red!!! Actually now that I've studied this time time again, I'm thinking "A young Better Looking Robert Waggoner" (I'll email you my next entry for the suck up 10 you will give me!!!) LOL

Definitely more Wagner than Farrell. The faux fur threw me at first, too, though I figured it out. My challenge favorite. Congrats on the ribbon.

Gotta say, Mark, this is the type of photo that has to be held near and dear to you and your family. It's classic stuff. Cool, edgy and classy at once. Perfectly done.

I noticed the dog - you're right - Lydia's right :) But it's a great sp for any challenge and perfect for this one. Congratulations on the ribbon, Mark.

LOL! Love the white dog. Cropped perfectly to allow the imagination to run wild. And yes, resemblance to Will Farrell is there... :-)

Very strong image. The leather, furry couch is a nice accent. Love the glasses and only one eye showing. The light and processing are also right on. Used to have an Oscar the grouch t-shirt but it was making me too grouchy :)

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Ha! Love the 'What!" grouchy expression with 'the look' and the raised eyebrow. The annoyance of the man is further heightened by Oscar the Grouch on his t-shirt (nice touch btw:-) ). Processing and the lighting are top notch work. Excellent work - will definitely be in the top ten.

I'd have cropped out the dog since it's a bit awkward that we can't really know for sure what it is.

I LOVE the rest of it! Yes!

One of my top picks -- I like the composition and the muted tones but the expression is priceless. All the best in the challenge
