The soft colours are wonderful. I agree there is nothing to initially contact me with the image so you are forced to explore the image and there is much to appreciate there. I̢۪m not too sure about the boarder though. The colour does compliment the image but for me it competes for attention a little bit instead of isolating the image. Then again, I̢۪ve never really been that good with boarders and may not know what I̢۪m talking about. |

Well captured colors - seldom seem in my experience which makes it precious. |

Good tonal balance and palette captured. Busy but not overpowering. |

Lovely soft colours and a great focus all the way through. I think this would make a beautiful canvas for your wall. Hydrangeas are my absolute favourite flower, they remind me of my childhood home. |

Nice color palette you captured here. I find it difficult to connect with your picture: i cannot identify an entry point that captures me and guides me through the picture.

How clever, well seen. I thought this was an image of some leaves that was painstakingly edited in photoshop to give these lovely colours. |

This is a very peaceful, calm looking picture. I like the subdued colours. Beautiful pattern throughout. |

This is fine, fine, Marion. I love the textures, tones, shapes. There are a few hot pixels (I think that's what they are called - small white dots) that distract; they would be easy to remove. |

Love that this looks desaturated, but is the actual color. |

Lovely. I spent several minutes taking this in. The wide border color seems to help reinforce the tones. |

I really like the juxtaposition of the soft colors and the sharpness all the way through. |

Aw yes, you truly created a very accurate shot of the fading glory of a hydrangea - lovely detail and an image that is soft but not for lack of focus .. just lovely. |

This almost becomes an abstract of lines and colors. The muted colors are lovely. Nice detail in the petals. |

This is gorgeous, with the delicate colors & crisp shapes. Later on those petals will change to lovely shades of brown. My local botanical garden has a nice variety of hydrangeas & like you I enjoy their photogenic beauty. |

I love Hydrangeas period. I just can't get them to grow. My grandmother in Arkansas had a huge one in her front yard and I have always wanted one in my yard. I will keep trying. Love the muted colors also. I like how it fills the frame. |
