13 hours before rollover the score is 7.18 - I hope I can nail the podium, but anyways, a 7+ score is always great :)

As soon as I've seen the challenge title I thought of this shot and I can say that the final result was rather similar to what I had in my mind.

I planned the shooting at 5 o'clock in the morning, waiting for the dawn.

A couple of days before, the weather was awful, I woke up but - mission aborted!

Last day I had a chance to shoot, the weather was perfect and my friend Edmondo was with me.

I have built the scarecrow with some reeds, used paper for the head and some fabric.

I had several choices but opted for this 'Dawn of the Dead style' (thank you Melethia, I really appreciated your comment!)

I was not in a good mood, so I feel this image like a real portrait - I really felt like a scarecrow in the ocean!

I guess a red is perfect for this image :)

With this image I reached a sort of secret goal for me: I wanted to get so many ribbons as the great windtale. We both come from Italy and I always loved his works!

Great concept, wel executed, but my vote is significantly lower than it cold have been because of ineffective cropping. The left half of the picture is way stronger than he right. Why not put he scarecrow on one third of he left hand side of the frame?

THIS IS ALMOST A PERFECT TRANQUIL OR ZEN IMAGE BUT NOT SURE ON THE SCARECROW FOR THAT TYPE OF PHOTO BUT FOR THIS CHALLENGE IT IS PERFECT... FROM SHEZ
