I didn't really have a choice this past Sunday morning but to shoot bike racers - their route literally passed right by my front door! So Red and I grabbed gear, set up and began shooting.

This shot was taken about 2 pm with a member of one bike club slowly pedalling up to the starting area for the elite men's bike race at this year's Dandelion Festival. The oncoming men in black are the team that eventually won. 100 miles in 3hrs and 50 minutes...pretty damn good! :-)

pp: RAW, crop, brightness/contrast, vibrance/saturation, resize, sharpen, save for web. Think I also cloned out a phone pole from one of the guys in black.

Doesn't matter who wins this bike trail standoff. They are all about to get smoked by a commuter with a milk crate strapped to his rack.

Some serious kit there - shoe covers and all!
