 This is the St. Anthony Lighthouse seen through a gun hole in St. Mawes Castle in Cornwall. The lighthouse was the set for the television series 'Fraggle Rock'!

I like the shape of the opening but find the foreground frame is essentially just providing an uneven border here rather than being an object in it's own right. That said, I like the image very much. The composition of what one can see through the frame is excellent - position of the lighthouse works very well. Cloud detail provides nice balance.

I love the subject, great colors and focus. One thing that bothers me: the frame doesn't create more interest to the subject. I feel like the frame is there only to take the challenge.

This is a nice picture for this challenge, but I think it would have been better if the horizon didn't run through the center of the picture. Maybe if the lighthouse were lower it might have a more dramatic effect. Other than that, this shot came out very well.

Nice, fits challenge perfectly. Lighthouse looks nice and sharp. Would have liked to have seen this photo in colour....maybe?

this is *very* exquisitely framed. I think the border is a little much, as the framing of the window the viewer is looking for is plenty (or cut back to one simple line of white to off balance on black backgrounds)

I love the shot. The frame here unfortunatelly messes more than adds. It's way to blurry, but I understand it wouldn't be easy to make it sharper. The same pic without the frame and with the light house more towards left bottom corner would be a BEAUTIFUL shot (I mean as stand alone, this challenge was frame and there it is). Well done 7
