 I googled a fairy tale called The Lady with the Lantern and got my inspiration for this image. Thanks to Pia for modeling for me once again. You will probably recognise her from my portraits shot.

She looks surprisingly like someone on the pirate ship in Kidnapped! Very nice shot; the lighting and the expectant look on her face really make it.

Somehow I feel like I have seen this Lady before. Is she Pia? :-))

The photo is full of emotions: I see fear and curiosity in her eyes. The costume is great, too, and the lighting is excellent! The lantern adds a soft glare on her face. My alltogether impact is that this could be a scene from a movie, just like the pause button pressed on my DVD player. Very well done, excellent job!

She doesn't strike me as an imaginary creature or character so much as a human girl dressed in an outfit from times gone by. It's rural rather than fairy tale to me. That said it's a lovely image and perhaps she's looking, in surprise, at some imaginary creatures out of shot? Link to challenge is weak for me but image is strong. 7 overall.

This is an amazing shot. It reminds me of Beauty & The Beast, when Belle walks through the castle. Great shot; I love it. Beatuiful model, also. SHe has a great expression on her face

Lovely image. Great lighting. One of the best in the challenge. I think it would be great if you played with it in black and white with the channel mixer and then brought the color layer back on top with about 30% transparency. 9

absolutely gorgeous! One of these days I'll be able to accumulate enough props to do something like this :) Anyway, props aside, you've done a wonderful job with capturing the moment, and handling the light. This piece really puts me in the moment.
