I recently began using windows live photo gallery to organize all my pictures. I never did it in the past because I found that adobe and picasa products tried to take over too much and there was too little flexibility and I was better off with large folder hierarchies. This all changed when I decided to start making albums without wanting doubles of my files and so I found that windows live photo gallery did what I wanted. Problem is that its an painfully long process and WLPG does not allow to geotag old pictures. So I end up using multiple softwares for specialized tasks but go back to WLPG to browse my pictures and make and publish albums and. The only problem is that I want to use Picasa's face but my tags from WLPG do not show up in picasa. Saying that they don't show up is a bit of a lie, if you go in properties you can see them or if you start adding a new one the auto-complete includes the tags i created in WLPG but Picasa simply does not recognize them!

Has anyone found a way to get picasa to recognize other program's tags? Or even better, does anyone know of a program that does landmark recognition (be it limited to faces or more) and automatic taging?
