Come back Daddy...by perkygothComment: 2 seconds later and you'd have a shot -- the car wouldn't be there. In this photo, I see what he is looking at -- there is nothing "off-screen" about the shot. |

Life of Maldives.by itexxComment: MOTOR on the boat isn't too quiet, I'll bet. Beautiful picture, but he should be rowing along, silently, or maybe at sail, but not motoring in. |

Silenceby jmsetzlerComment: I've never known a waterfall to be quiet. Nice photo though. |

Letting go of control: the photographer becomes the photographed.by GoldBerryComment: Nice approach to "letting go." Wonderful portrait shot -- I love the lighting and the angle of the shot. The DOF is just a touch short, giving me a mouth in perfect focus, but the eyes are just a bit soft -- not much, but just a touch. Still, not as distracting as the blurry, but not blurry enough left hand at the right edge of the photo and the mystery buttons in the lower left corner of the photo. I don't think I'd try to crop them out though -- this shot works better as a landscape oriented photo than if you cropped off both sides. Now that my nits have been picked, I'd still like to say, nice photo and well done. Kudos to the non-photographer who shot this image of the photographer, letting go. |

Ouch!by zerocusaComment: Ouch is right -- here is a guy that SHOULD let go, alas, he doesn't -- so, where is the "letting go" in this submission? |

LUCKY SHOTby Rando D300Comment: I'm not a hard-liner "rule of thirds" guy, but I think it would definitely help this image. The bird is way too centered -- but the slight off-center that it is is to the right or the direction of flight. I find it more appealing to have the direction of flight appear to be entering the frame rather than leaving. |

Loosening Graspsby mocabelaComment: Excellent submission. I'm not sure if the disembodied hands are intriguing, or annoying, but I'm leaning toward annoying. There's too much of the body to not have a head as well, IMO. Still, the best of the challenge so far, but I havent' seen that many pix yet. |

pizza place shoot-outby proger_alcantaraComment: I hope to God this isn't real! If so, I think it is in poor taste. Still, dealing with the challenge, it is shot (no pun intended) from an interesting angle. Too bad your DOF isn't deeper. |
