lighting snake

Comment:
I like this a lot, especially the idea of making it diagnoal. Seeing the light snake come to an end is somewhat distracting for me, so maybe try positioning it so that only the middle of the snake is shown? Also, softening the image would give it a nice ethereal look, I think. Just my opinion. Wonderful subject!

While the picture is already awesome, I think it would look even better if the yellow was a bit more yellower (saturated), and the black area on the left and right sides are cropped out. Superb shooting! Would love to know how this was done.

Very cute and colorful. I only wish that the tags/strings weren't there. The picture might look better if cropped a little more so that there are no or less black areas showing. All in all, a good image!

Very cool and creative light-painting! Bright and attractive, it has a nice futuristic feel. I think it would look better with fewer straight lines, but that's just my opinion. Good colors - I'm guessing you used a laser point? Nicely done!

The moon is too blurry and there is too much noise overall. I like the black-white gradient and concept, though. Good attempt.

This is great! The only nitpick from me is that the background (the cloth/edge behind the baby) is distracting. It would be awesome if the baby was placed right in the middle of the mirror without the cloth/edge. The baby's expression and the camera angle is terrific! The image being in B&W is an excellent choice.

Wowers! I love the chrome look and the "glow" that it gives off. Perhaps it would have much more impact if the background were completely black. Strong and clean image. Wonderfully done!

The concept's right, but the picture's too small. The background should be all white or very blurry, so that it would help draw the attention to the flame. The lighting on the subject's face by the flame is great! Try to make the picture bigger the next time. Nicely done! [Edited to correct a minor spelling error.]

This is cool, a nun in habit with a bad habit! This picture would be great if it wasn't so blurry. It also needs more contrast, and perhaps cropped a little more tightly (the light area to the right of the nun's hand is distracting). But this fits the theme great!

I'm not sure if this fits the theme, but I had to laugh at the coincidence... the statue's stained face and her "reaction" to the bird sitting on her head! It's like she's screaming "Oh, nooo! Not again!". :-) The background is nicely blurred but I think it'd be better if it's blurred a little more (shorter DOF). Just my opinion. Great shot!
