I really like the angle of this shot for the subject and the shadow on his face and forehead. The size is small and makes it difficult to appreciate the details in the photo.

This is a nice capture and very nice composition. It also fits the challenge but the quality of the photo is disappointing. I know the feeling quite well myself. I am even learning enough to think that it's because of using a zoom lens. I really like the crowd behind the subjects also - it really adds to the overall feeling of the "win".

This is a terrific shot. The composition and colors are pleasing and attractive. I do not care for the border. For me the contrasting orange of the frame compromises instead of compliments the wonderful blue of the lake and the sky.
