Coinsby laheffComment: Greetings from the critique club:
First off your image is too small I can't tell what I'm really looking at the I'm aware it's a tray full of coins but coins themselves are rather fuzzy. They appear to be dimes i can't tell fro sure. I see this was taken in scotland so I can assume not. I like the light gradation but I think your image would have more wow impact it was cropped just to contain the coins and the light grad and not the tray. It would look like money into infinity. (a really nice concept don't you think ;)) The little chips thrown in?? were they random and if not it's not clear what their color or position indicates. when I first looked at them all in a row like that I thought they were meant to indicate the 3 ribbons but they're not in the right order or the right colors for that so... Less distracting if they were removed, or placed to look more random.
Good luck and keep shooting
jo
PS they have casinos in scotland? and they let you take pictures? |

Catholic Churchby ShannonComment: Exposure is way too dark and white ballence is too blue. you have a lot of obvious lens distortion (keystoning)
Most likly the lens distortion is the falt of the cam and I don't know a DPC legal fix for this If anyone offers please pass it on. Most cams have an ajustable white ballance. start palying with yours so you have a beter idea what it can do. Also read your manuel and find the Exposure compensation and ISO. this needed to be bosted up. the danger with boosting upexposure comp is hand and camera shake if your in the position of tring to boost exposure make sure you find something to brace on the hood of your car parked in front or in the car braced on the window would have worked if you boost ISO you get grain too much reads as noise. flash on most point and shoots wount light up the secen and will bump doun your exposure comp.
Because of the keystoning I think this is not a good subject for your camera.
Good Luck |

Granite Tabernacle Spireby f-32Comment: nice clarity...foucs white ballence, exposure. But why the severe leaning angle. it dosn't lend anything to the photograph. Also the top of this tower is very interesting If you had more zoom capability to catch detail and another vantage point I think you might have a high scorer. |

Are They Home Yet?by FullyFocusedComment: what a cute preditor you have there. you might consider taking it down one stop or useing a ND or polirizer filter. there's a little blowout on the side facing the sun.
all in all nice pic |
