Red and Yellow make Orangeby SonifoComment: Mmmm, uh... was this meant for one of the other challenges? It seems more like it belongs in the 'secondary colours' one. Not really much in the way of complementary here (some green vs red, though). |

Pool Towel on Teak Chairby DennisFComment: Okay, that's good. You've got the colours. You've got the nice setup that could be casual. You've got the good strong focal point that makes the blur not annoying. And hey, you have teak! Where's MY teak? |

Beanzby hawkidaComment: Ehhh. Yes, okay, yellow, blue, but they're not really very prominently contrasty, and honestly, I can't stand beans, which makes this kinda grody from my perspective. Not a big hit, not a big miss. |

Strawsby auroraComment: Ow, my eyes.
Okay, let's try that again. Yes, yes that would fit the topic quite well. And they're BENDY straws, which is not something I would have ever thought to photograph myself. Very bright, very intense. I think I kinda like it. |

Spooning Candiesby BigSmilesComment: I keep running into these perfect ad-like creations in this contest, it's very neat. Nice, very mouth-watering, good colour choices. |

A Walk Until the Endby DavidLevinComment: Erm. Okay, the house is vaguely red-brick vs green-grass, I guess, but sicne the focal point appears to be far more on the fence I think this misses the opportunity of topical display. Plus a healthier lawn might have worked better for that. |

Roll me over in the clover~by justineComment: Many, MANY flowers contrasting with leaves. Okay, that's new this round. The angle of shot seems strange somehow but since I can't quite put my finger on why I guess that's not the world's most helpful comment. |

Red Hat Green Hatby jab119Comment: Good colours, though I wonder if a darker green would have contrasted better. Does anyone actually wear that green hat? It looks like it would spoil nearly any skin tone. :) Angle of shot is good. |

Shelley in a Blue Hatby sagestudioComment: But now you must answer this question: is that her natural hair colour? :)
Good colour choice. A little strange in terms of layout -- it looks flat (I wouldn't have known it was a hat without the title clue) and disconnected. |
