IT Project Managerby scarbrdComment: A very nice take on the challenge and well accomplished visually. I am sure the lighting was not a fun thing to balance on this shot, and I think you did it very well. |

Automatic Millionaire? by elizabethjComment: A fun idea. I wish that your lighting would have made it back to the business person. Specifically the hair starts to get lost in the darker background. I would also think about doubling over tape and putting in under the post it notes as putting it on top of the post it means you get some reflective glare that immediately draws the eye. |

A day in our office is funby WilltorecordComment: While I am sure you will get some debate on if this meets the challenge, I would rather focus on the technicals. For me, the framing and composition could have been improved to make this a much more appealing shot. The mini fence on the right immediately takes my eye away from the rest of the scene. Additionally, the light post moving through pyramid hampers the image in my eyes. I very much like the off-center approach to the composition as straight on would have left the image rather flat and dull for me. |

The Game of Lifeby Marc923Comment: My first question would be what you expected for a score with this shot. Technically, there is nothing glaringly wrong with the shot. So I doubt you will get lots of comments giving you technical changes. I did not vote in this challenge but would have given this a 5 or a 4 if I would have voted. The reasoning for me is fairly simple. The shot is a snapshot. What draws my eye to this photo? What makes it stand out? What makes it dramatic? My answer is nothing. That doesn't mean it is a bad shot. I already stated technically the photo is very good. I think you did exactly what you wanted with the photo. That being said there is no story, no drama, and nothing that would make me remember the photo. Since you mentioned other game photos take a look at the monopoly one for contrast. Utilization of DOF, and toning make that a very dramatic and eye catching photo and that makes all the difference. Don't get discouraged the shot is very well done it just didn't have that pop and wow factor to score well. |

Sunshine on a Cloudy Dayby scooter97Comment: Gorgeous! Great shot and I love the crop you have used here. It doesn't clutter the shot with any element that could be distracting. The off center compostion also adds tremendously as well. Great job on my first page. |

---Oversaturated--- by njsabsComment: This is a fantastic illustration of how a large amount of pp can be amazing. I doubt many would think this is straight from the camera, and their are times when I like that look. This however utilizes pp to its best. Wonderfully done and on my first page. |

Forest Floorby scooter88Comment: I feel awful because I have this feeling that my vote and voice will be in the minority on this one. I think it is brilliant. The lighting gives this an amazing feeling of texture. The framing is wonderful and I have nothing to give for improvement. This is what I call fine art. Very very well done! On my first page. |
