The Seeker by dgtlcloseComment: Oh, my. I knew that wasn't a wolf - those ears are enormous and the face is too narrow - but I was completely unable to figure out what she was. NI. Never even heard of the Northern Inuit, but I got it. Yay! (I have a husky, hence the enthusiasm.) What a great photo; this is the kind of picture I'd like to have of my Sika. |

Being Enzo Maisano...by hotpastaComment: Probably helps to be bald when you're cutting out photos of yourself so many times! Very nice photo, extremely expressive and open. This is more of a self-portrait than the other's I've seen - it's a picture of your soul, almost. Nice work. |

Matadorby nutzitoComment: Was this by chance taken in Mexico? I know young bullfighters have been increasing in popularity there, and Spain has a legal age limit. But I'm not morally chastising you, since ethics have nothing to do with this photo - which, by the way, is wonderfully energetic. The red cape's a bit blown out, but with the rest of the picture exposed properly, that'd be hard to fix. Very nice job! |

Vertical Distanceby FrankRobinsonComment: I can't figure it out... would I avoid skydiving to protect my own welfare, or that of my camera?
P.S. Thank you for an excellent shot from above the clouds - I flew in a plane recently, first time in 4 years, and I'd forgotten how beautiful it is up there. Message edited by author 2007-10-31 17:47:53. |

Mesa Archby bryanbrazilComment: If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the most photographed arches in any given desert. So I'd think I've seen them all - apparently not. The addition of a person seriously helps, especially by giving you a feeling of scale. The world is, by far, bigger than we are. |

7by jdannelsComment: Where IS the seven in this, anyway? I've looked all over... it must be obvious because I don't have a prayer of seeing it. x) |

Pretty In Pinkby JeffryZComment: I see depth of focus over soft focus in this. It would probably work better for softness to have those petals sticking out to the side be blurred as well, but obviously that's hard given our choices in Basic editing. |

My beautiful dog.by Emma_RoseComment: What would be a great picture just needs a little more light from the left, so we can pick out the subject more easily. The focus is pulled off quite well, though. |

Two of a kindby MarellaComment: Too much fuzzy, too little softness. The way I interpret the difference is that soft focus means the highlights, primarily, are blurred, and not so much all the other values. |
