 Here's the story...

this is a pic of Eric, my dog, a day or two before this was taken he had a stroke and got diagnosed with vestibular syndrome... basically he's really dizzy, sick and doesn't have any apetitie.

he's slowly getting better, but he still lokks pretty drowsy in this pic.

Although I'm not expecting to do well in this challenge I particularly like this image, its kind of ambiguos with only half of his face visible, and the slight glow of his eye.

i'm not usually a big fan of soft focus, but I thought I'd have a go.

PP includes curves and adjustment levels, plus I added a bit more blur.

Here's wishing eric a speedy recovery!

The shadows seem too dark, I would have liked to see some sort of detail in the shadows or at least the eyes.

I like the lighting, it adds drama, but unfortunately it falls off so short it is hard to decipher the dogs eye .

He is beautiful. Overall, I find the shadows are a little to dark. Sorry.

What would be a great picture just needs a little more light from the left, so we can pick out the subject more easily. The focus is pulled off quite well, though.
