Using old ways for the newby todbedyComment: Lovely lighting, would be great if you could comment on your setup after the voting. Shame about the green clamp though as it is spoils the colour scheme and is the odd one out. |

A time when pocketwatches tickedby freakyreefComment: Lovely close up. Perhaps a softer lightsource to reduce specular highlights and harsh burnt out areas would have been better. Going duotone with a warmer hue might have suited the theme/title IMO |

Preserving the Pastby chuck54Comment: I fear this is too complex to scoe highly here. The jars are the main subject but the environment is complex and spoils what would have been a lovely colour theme. A black neutral background with softer light to reduce the specular highlights would have given a lovely simple green, black and grey image. |

The Earth Stoveby LonzComment: Just seems little overly sharp/processed. The diagonal lines made by the bricks are aliasing which is rather unnatural and spoils the shot for me. You have a lot of pixels at the top and bottom end of the tonal range but not a lot in between and so a lot of detail is lost |

Rusty Memoriesby BrokenPelvisComment: Unnaturally overprocessed for me, perhaps if the car was against a more neural background it would work better. |

Groovin', Baby!by mgsmith53Comment: Lovely abstract patterns and texture. The strong specular highlights (which can often be a downside) work great here. Might have been worth reducing the colour saturation though to dampen out the magenta tones or even going full mono |

"Nggaru"by nueComment: Lovely green colours - just seems a little overprocessed somehow which lightly spoils what for me could have been a great entry. A lower viewpoint at about the grass height level, with some blurred blades in the foreground would have allow you a) to see more of the face, b) opened up the background c) added more interest for not being at "normal height" - the viewpoint in which we probably view the world most of the time anyway |

A Lost Artby dmul91Comment: Fairly predictable subject choice - but nicely done. Detail on the camera body is lost in the darkness, a low side light source would have overcome this and maybe added some interesting shadows |
