A fairy tale wedding.by David NewlandComment: Excellent mono conversion, and great capture of the moment. A lot of entries to these challenges afford multiple shots to get things perfect and I myself have spent hours over a single image, but here you will only have had a very small window to reel off some memory card space so you've done well. Great natural expressions and well composed although could perhaps have done with a little clockwise rotation during cropping to get your vertical lines in the background vertical. |

Match Girl Saves Birdby raishComment: Lovely texture and reflections. With the firey bokeh effects this all looks very Terminator 2. Lovely composition, the title doesn't mean anything to me but I'll take you word on that. The only thing that is a bit of a shame is apart from the aforementioned firey bokeh in the top right corner which is great, the rest of the background is similarly coloured and of the same illumination as the figure and so the figure would have had more impact had the background been more discreet. |

My daughter...always in never land.by kvickreyComment: You seem to have a vertical grainy effect going on and I'm unsure as to whether or not this was intentional or due to a limited colour palette, high ISO noise or some other resizing artifacts. Whatever the reason, it does rather take the focus off the girl which otherwise is well composed and has lovely sharpness to the eyes. |

A Child Stopped Believing Today...by WildcardComment: Just seems a little out of focus. You may have intentionally gone for a dreamy fairy tale bloom/blur effect during post processing but I feel the eyes just are not as sharp as they could be. Perhaps just a bit of sharpening on the eyes or even just a small USM after the resize to 640 would have made all the difference. |

Enter the Woodsmanby posthumousComment: Not sure the motion blur on the left works for me. Quite a lot of empty space a the bottom of the image which would have worked better if there was perhaps some footprints to lead the eye into the image and towards the woodsman. |

The Pixies' throne only appeared at midnightby Blink_Too_FastComment: Lovely composition and wide angle. Just not sure about the colour scheme, the white on the top of the trees and then the orange is a little distracting and takes the focus away from the throne, which itself could do with a bit of a tonal range boost to make it more dramatic in the otherwise fairly flat surroundings. |

Go on, have a bite dearie...by aimeethetooComment: Love the fingers around the apple, nice and simple concept. On the composition side of things, could have done with getting rid of some of the empty space of the left to centre up the subject a bit more. |

Faerie Landby banmornComment: The background, despite being blurred is quite strongly coloured and draws attention away from the mostly pink coloured subjects. Can't help but feel the face of the fairy could be more in focus. The left eye is but not the right but yet the centre of the flower right at the bottom is well focused which spoils the composition a bit as it further draws attention away from the fairy and in this case, out of the bottom of the image. |
