Despairby WadeComment: I think the picture would have worked even better without the perfectly posed knife. The knife makes the picture a bit trite. Despair is conveyed aptly though the man's posture and the construction of the room (crumbling as it is). Just a thought! I definitely like the picture though - great setting. |

Expectationsby jasonlpriceComment: I really like that you showed just one half of one of the children's face. You showed great restraint (I have no way of knowing, but it might have been tempting to show more of the face or more faces) and it works so well. Her eyes convey enough for everyone. |
