Full Throttle by ozdickComment: Congrats on your ribbon. Love the color of the water. It really does show speed. Great shot! |

149mphby tomlewis1980Comment: Cool shot. Can̢۪t wait to see how you shot it. I think its a stroboscopic flash, like I used on my self portrait. Only yours is done much better. Great control of the dark background (something that plagues me still). Focus is sharp on the racked even though it has to be moving just a bit from the ball, unless you got this dropping it onto the racket on the way down. Cool I̢۪m even more intrigued. 2 more hours and Ill have my answer... Great job. |

The speed of technologyby vignirComment: I like it. I would be interested to know how this was done. The plug is nice and sharp so I̢۪m confused how you blurred the background. Funny, this photo brings back less then fond memories for me as I had to wire 150 cables (both ends) for a network one night boy what a slow night that was. Anyhow nice job. |

Blue Skies, Beach Sand - Colorado Sand Dunesby K-RobComment: I agree with chinstrap, this should have taken a ribbon and I̢۪m disgusted that someone in their infinite wisdom has the sac to give this shot a 2. Let me guess, doesn̢۪t own a camera and just doesn̢۪t get it. Aghhh, time to start a revolt... |

Bikeby HBunchComment: While I like this photo and think that stopies are very cool. I rated this photo lower then I would have if it was sharper. I am sure he was moving pretty quick. I would have also tried to position myself to get the rider in back more if it helped or less if he wasnt doing anything but his head above the back seat is a bit distracting. |

The Beastby RefractedComment: Too Cool. I love the composition and crystal clear focus. At first I thought it was a gator but now I believe its an Iguana. Very Nice shot I gave it an 8 |

Illegal racerby BlurryComment: I rated this image low because I couldn̢۪t find a part in the image that grabbed my attention. I think I see street lines but since every part of the photo is blurry its hard to make out. I realize its a pain to shoot at night in the car so I take that into account. If the street lines were in a bit more focus I would have rated it higher. Good effort though. |

Tropical Storm Tranquilityby grigrigirlComment: this is a nice shot but I am not left with the feeling of speed. Actually I am more relaxed by your excellent image then anything else. Sorry but I rated this image low because I dont feel the theme of the challenge was met. As far as photos go though this is a very nice picture, worth framing and displaying in your den. Nice shot. |

The neighbor's dogby lucosaComment: Cute dog. Good shot. However I rated it low because I couldnt figure out how this related to speed. If this was in a hometown challenge or something like that I would have given it an 8 but I just cant see speed not in the picture or title. Still he looks like he wants to give you a big kiss. Nice shot. |
