Beautiful Brideby bennettjamieComment: Originally posted by snaffles: Nice enough pic but her dress is very bleached out, the window is a huge distraction and I think her smile is forced - she looks very posed, very stiff through her entire body. Yes! I totally agree! This is when I first started to pick up a camera...but considering I had no idea what I was doing I didn't do too bad lol Thanks for the critique! : ) |

The Ring and The Lilliesby bennettjamieComment: Originally posted by Elaine: I gave it a 4. The ring (which I took to be the subject) is not in focus and is too centered for me. Also, to me the most interesting part of the iris is where the yellow meets the purple, and that is not in focus either. |
Thank you for your comment! The part you found the most interesting was supposed to be blurred lol |

The Ring and The Lilliesby bennettjamieComment: Originally posted by h2: For me that's not an artistic but a product shot (being a product photographer myself). Yes it is a product but whos not to say that a product shot can't be artistic? I do appreciate your comment though. I do agree with the ring not being in sharp focus as I previously stated, however the rest of the photograph is very interesting, and I don't think cropping it tighter would have made this photograph better, and in fact would have taken away from it.
Thanks again for your comment. |
