What you've captured here better than anything else are the various textures which I want to keep exploring endlessly. To this end, the lighting and depth of field are impeccable.

You really caught good light with this photo. The flower seems almost glowing, especially that ring just outside the stamens. I really enjoyed how you filled the background at the top instead of leaving a void. The flower, though stunning, isn't enough for me, and the background still leaves things to be explored.

Ha! Film we don't need in digital photography! Nice arrangement of this still life. The various angles of the boxes lead my eye all around to explore the photograph. The lighting helps the angles do their work. The only distraction I find is the photo's graininess. I love grain, but I can't see the reason for it here. Very nice work.

Bold, original idea that works for me. The theme is clearly yellow, and I like the composition. Have you tried fiddling with the light so that there is more dark, especially on the left side of the photo? That may create more contrast and more interest. Very cool work.

Well composed photograph. Try it in the Stock Photo challenge, too! The way the light bounces around the glass and ends up on the sides is very effective. There is some distracting noise above and behind the glass, however. Nice work.

You may be a lichen lover like me! I love the contrasts between the black lettering amid the yellow and then the white/black lettering to the right of the photo. The variety adds a lot of interest. Luckily, the lichen is not consistent throughout, yet the levels are, so it works and it's engaging.

You really did capture amber! There is a lot of negative space here, so the yellow really sticks out. You might try splitting your upper half and lower half bymore or less than a half next time you take a similar picture. In other words, show more water or show more sky. That may make a more dynamic picture. Nice job.

Seems so simple, and it makes a statement. Conforms to theme very nicely. I'm sure you didn't arrange the bubbles (!), but they are sure "well placed," demonstrating excellent cropping. Bubbles on edges seem slightly out of focus--actually, the bubbles on the extreme right seem most in focus. I can't help feeling that there should be even focus in this image. Nice work!

I like how the fingers lead the eye directly to the yolk, which seems to defy gravity. Well composed and true to the challenge. Nice work!
