Wow, thanks for all the great comments. I got this guy on one of my walks at lunch in a inner city park about a 5min drive from my work. I was actually shooting a couple smaller younger deer when this buck came up behind me about 20 feet from me so I managed to get this shot before he took off. Ill be posting more in the next day or so :)

a couple of the water fall ones are HDR in a way where I used on average 3 different exposures out of the same raw file and blend/edit from there. The rest are mainly just levels adjustment and some hue/saturation adjustment...

Hi Ursula, yes this is pretty much a self portrait of my son Brandon and I, my wife took the shot over the holidays, I had thought about entering it in the B&W challenge but there was a few things in the background that had to be removed and Im sure it would have been DQ'd for the cloning.

I would say 90% of my photos are taken with out a tripod as I rarely have the time to set it up for alot of the shots Ive taken...

This one was shot freehand as well, I prob could have used a little more USM but at the time liked it the way it was.

I did forget to mention that when this pic was taken in April this year its still in its original condition and been pretty much a daily driver for the past 26 years through some of the worst Canadian winters :)
