I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera and wanted to get your professioanl opinion of either the Nikon D200 or the Canon EOS 5D.
I know that the processor is the most important, but what is the Advantage and or disadvantage of either of these Models. What I know is the Canon does have 12.8 MegaPixel and is Full Frame and is suppose to have a better Chip, but I've seen some really nice Colorful Macro Shots with the Nikon D200.
Ultimately, my goal is to incorporate My digital Photos with Digitally Designed Art and enlarge on a LightJet (Requires 150dpi at final size for optimal printing - apparent 4,000dpi)at sizes up to 4'x8'.
Any suggestions on these Cameras or others you might recommed with any info on lenses as well?
Thanks,

Very cool! I would have gone for a closer shot, but then I would have scared him away and not gotten a shot! :) Well done! |

Excellent shot, nice composition (did you crop or just take it the way you got it?). |

Wow, thanks for all the great comments. I got this guy on one of my walks at lunch in a inner city park about a 5min drive from my work. I was actually shooting a couple smaller younger deer when this buck came up behind me about 20 feet from me so I managed to get this shot before he took off. Ill be posting more in the next day or so :)
Thanks again,

Great capture. I hate deer killers. No need for killing such majestic animals with so much beef in the stores. |

Nice nature shot. You did a nice wildlife capture, they are so very hard to do well. Congrats. |

Wow, that's good detail without a zoom lens. You must have been close! Nice shot. |

Beautiful buck. We don't see deer around here very often. Only nitpick is his antlers seem to get lost in the trees. |

Nice capture and good exposure. That is a very cool looking young buck.
Suggestions for improvement (IMHO): For some reason it feels a little tilted to me. I'd maybe go a little wide on the crop. It's good to have the details of the buck but I'd like to see a little more of the nature around him as well. Right now it feels a little like he's in a box. |

Wow - we don't have them where I live - must be amazing to see them up close in your environment. |

Oh how I love when young bucks get "shot" this way instead of that other way :) Beautiful contrast of those rich red tones against that wonderful winter. A site for a Texan's winter-deprived sore eyes!

I like the title :) Nice to have wildlife so close to you. It looks a little soft, maybe from using a small crop? nice find, looking forward to more. |
