I really like the simplicity of this shot - the only thing that I think could improve it would be to have brought it through on the floor.

Cheers for your shot. sorry could not resist. Looks as though you have picked up a TV in your glass which has also caused that rather distracting purple fringe at the top of the pic, and on the rim of the glass. I also think that you would been better off using something blue to create the effect that you have with the green. This would have helped the purple bits, and I think blue works better with red than green.

I am sure that you intention probaly is too make everything out of focus. While the blue does help to give it a very emotive feel, unfortunately that is all it does give the picture. It might have been a lot better if some of it had been in focus.

Very nice idea, however I think you do need to have put your glass in better focus. I am also not sure about the background you have used (unless that is what has given the glass the purple fringing, but I doubt it. You probaly could have got a much better effect on a different background.

Barely met the challenge, and I sort of get the feeling that the base of the glass is there so that it meets the challenge. I think you might have been better off taking the glasses from another angle, so that you got a lot more of them and their shadows.

Nice idea, which has unfortunately not worked. I think that if there had been quite a bit more glass, you idea might have worked a lot better.

You sure have met the subject here. Think I would have used a whiter background (or if it the light that has given the glass that pinkish glow, I would have changed it to a more natural light. Would also have cleaned up the glass and removed the browner pieces. I also would have probably kept to fewer pieces so that there was less distraction. Often simpler is better.

Nice idea that has partly come through, but I do think that the glass lamp need a bit of cleaning as it looks pretty dirty around th top. I also looks as though it might be a bit out of focus. I know that normally it good to compose a picture using the rule of thirds, but sometimes breaking the rule can help create better pictures, which might have been the case.

Would like to have seen this picture in colour as it might have attracted my attention more. Normally B&W can help creative really emotive pictures, but I do not think that it has worked in this case.

Nice idea, which could have been improved by getting the candles the same length, and I would have used different candle holders. The candle on the left also has too much flare and would have looked better if it had been like the middle and the right candle. But nice effect with the blue merging into purple.
