Not voting and just peaked in to see what was here but after seeing all the thumbnails and clicking on a few I had to come back and say I love this shot. There's just something about it. I don't know where it really is but for me this looks like a hospital and the title suggests imminent death for someone... maybe in the room to the left where that wheeled thing (an oxygen cart maybe?) is sitting. Yet it is a calm quiet death. Peaceful. and there is a light at the end where there is love. Blinding love just beyond that door at the end of the hallway.

I didn't comment on anyone else's photo in this challenge either. Yours spoke to me.

I really liked this shot during the challenge. It was/is intriguing for sure. I think any photo that makes me look at it longer is a great photo and this was one of those. I did score down a little because the color pink was supposed to be the primary color in the shot and the hat takes up such a small amount of real-estate. In a free study or a different challenge I would have scored much higher. I really loved all the reflections. The grain didn't even bother me. In fact I don't think I even realized it til I saw the other comments.

It's a beautiful one of a kind shot and I'm glad you got the posthumous blue!! You deserve it.
