Excellent photo. But you would never take this photo in portrait mode - this is a landscape shot in landscape. Not sure why it's in this challenge...

In the spirit of the landscape nature of the challenge, i might have cropped off more of the bottom of the photo. You have the nice wide landscape of the shore & water. The bottom of the photo doesn't add to that linear nature, and doesn't add much to the photo. crop it to just below her right hand and look the results - the focus snaps right to her and the screnery rather than on the boat, which is wherre the current photo draws my eyes.

cropping some off the bottom would have made this more 'landscape-y' and kept my eye focused on the eye/pendant linear relationship

I don't know what to do here. Excellent and creative show with the woman and fans, but the added area provided by landscape doesn't do anything. it's not a color than enhances the photo. I want to crop it off more than anything. The fact that it's a gradient is drawing my eye to the left, when my eye should be on your subject.
