I want to like this, the colors are realy nice and I love the reflections.. It's just that the object is too central. It makes the whole picture feel static.

Really nice water smoothness. I love the composition, but I'm not quite as sold on the lighting. Overexposed top takes the attention away from the lovely water.

Great.. I love the smoothness of the BG and the foreground against the boody of the lizard. The bumps and textures really make this a treate to look at. The spots on the ground disturb me a little, but not enough to hurt thr picture. 9

Overhauling History

Thanks for the votes and comments everyone- This building was the site of an IRA bombing in 1984. I figured it would go well with any kind of story about the situation Northern Ireland, the IRA, or British life in general.

I corrected the persepective and tried to focus the viewer more on the three railings, as suggested by Josha (thanks.. didn't even think about that). I think it helped, did I make the picture sit easier on your eyes too?

Good show Mark. I thought this might have been yours. The colours in the sky really bring quite a bit to this photo, as do the lights from the city. Congrats on 6th!
