Blinded by the Lightby mbardeenComment: Intersting how many people thought this would look better in colour, as this is in colour.
The shot is taken at night, and the light is a streetlamp. This made for a very monochromatic image. I played around with the hue and the saturation in order to make it less orange tho.
Thanks for the comments all! |

True to natureby terjeComment: Beautiful flow and grounding using the rocks. Looks just a bit too sharpened on the top rock. The best is the unbroken line of the top falls, it really puts the viewer off guard. |

A Pale View Of The Hillsby e301Comment: Wow. Took me a long time to get what this was, but now... Wow.
Sand, on the beach. Lots of hints and innuendos hidden in there. Lovely.

Daybreak by BradComment: Originally posted by TooCool: I'm confused by this though, what is the difference between a photoshopped triptych and the shot that got dq'ed from the window challenge that had a photoshopped window frame? Perhaps because this challenge does not specifically call for the picture be taken through a window and showing a frame?
Great job Brad! This was one of those thumbnails that jumped out at me as a winner. |

Vaseby phobdenComment: The idea and composition are good, but the lighting needs some work. Perhaps light from both sides? |

Fall Leavesby eckoeComment: Nice idea, but flip it around 180 degrees. I think you'll find that it's more pleasing to the eye. Great colours, but watch out for the noise. |

Just before sunriseby tp-fcpComment: I really like this. It's not your standard sunset shot, but the colours are amazing. Love the greens and reds and the blues. The contrast between the smoothness of the water and the roughness of the rock works really well. Good job! |
