Just the Two of Us by scalvertComment: Fantastic image. The hazy soft blue of the water is the perfect background for the contrast of the white birds. And the little splash of color of their bills is wonderful. |

A single grainby NigelLewComment: At first, I was not sure how I felt about this image, but as I stared at it for a little while, it grew on me. I like the lines of the image. Something about it is very peaceful. Well done. |

Henkby LOWLANDSComment: Beautiful portrait. Nice lighting. Would like to see him not cut off at the ankle. But I am not sure what it has to do with peace. |

Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoeby jdannelsComment: This is beautiful! Just right off the bat, it catches my eye and draws me into the photograph. There are so many textures and patterns, and they all work so well to create an incredibly appealing image. I especially like the slightly blurred water--I think you found the perfect shutter speed for this image.
AWESOME! |

fanndís María Supermodelby Haukur4Comment: The light is soft and beautiful. Personally I like my light to be a little more from the side, but this lighting works for her. Good DoF--you were able to keep the background from being distracting, while still adding a little depth. As for the posing, I think I would have liked to see her head a little less tilted.
Nice work! |

D U E Tby BradComment: I like the composition, and the DOF works well, but it took my eye a moment to actually search out the focus point. |

Wishing for Blue Skiesby nmatt30Comment: Is just the left eye blue? I think I would prefer this image as pure B&W. It is well lit and a beautiful portrait, but the selective color for the left eye is just bugging me a little. |

Dark Templeby namastedcComment: This image feels very busy to me. I am not sure if there was one aspect of the scene that you could have focused on. |
