Posingby dtremainComment: Those whites are fantastic. They look so soft and plushy.
Nicely done! |

Forever, forever I'm done with woeby AliciaComment: First impression - Yikes! 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'
Technicals - The red hair of the model competes for attention with the red of the heart. So my eye then rests on the black of the knife handle. The white dot on the handle grabs my attention away from the black dots of the eyes. They are along the same plane. The focus seems to be on the heart but its slightly off the mark. I would like to see something more sharp.
The strong whites in the front overpower the background. I would have loved to see the back the same brightness and without shadows/texture as the front to make the details pop more. |

Untitledby kdogg628Comment: The blur on the left side is distracting to me. It doesn't suggest curved shape of the tree to me. I would have liked the blur to go all the way around like what you would get with a lens baby focusing on the heart. |

The Tell-Tale Heartby fldaveComment: The heart looks more like a roast. ;) I actually thought about getting a beef heart from the store but thought better of it. LOL This image is not that convincing because the butcherer would have been splattered all over with blood. I suppose if the story was written today, It would be possible he would have used a Santoku knife. ;) Yes Im being picky on the details. Fun image. |

Heart of glowby glenncComment: My first impression is that it was dark. It doesn't look like photography, more like a graphic design. This looks pretty difficult to achieve photographically. I'm guessing its paper with some special lighting to make it glow. Its intriguing. |

Father & Child by Moose408Comment: The yellows aren't orange enough. This is an excellent time for complimentary color scheme. The yellow just seems to be a little bland against the strong blue. I like the band of blue dividing the yellow in two, but its also a bit bland. Maybe a half neutral density filter would have given more saturation in the upper part of the image, but Im not sure.
Another option is to crop just below the water for more impact on the heart.
I would have chosen to crop at the waist of the little kid. Just give a suggestion of the people playing in the water beyond. But thats a personal choice. The focus on the heart is great. But there are a lot of artifacts in the water that I would have cleaned up. This is advanced so I would have taken advantage of that. I wouldn't remove the ripples but the black specks. |

Heart and Soleby njsabsComment: I love this concept image! Very well thought out and well executed.
This would have been so adorable with baby feet. But its nicely done. The ragged jeans work well too. The lighting and style suggests one of the toos shot this image. If its not, take it as a compliment. ;) I predict this is a ribboner. (possibly the blue) |

Love Dripsby LonzComment: I have no clue what the red thing is. The drip is white which contrasts nicely with the red thing. The title, though innocent it may be, makes me want to go ew. There is a lot of other things reflected in the red thing that is a bit distracting to the image. something that needs to be shot in a light tent to control those side reflections. |
