Glass Floatby red_geckoComment: Nice framing and use of colour. But these glass balls are always annoyingly scruffy for this kind of shot, don't you find? |

Eco by TechoComment: Nicely executed. It does leave me feeling a bit greened-out after a while, though. Maybe just one other colour? Aven a slightly different shade of green would do... :-) |

Sunset Indulgence by StrikeslipComment: I'm really gonna have to get me one of those aquarium things...
Great concept, well executed. I love the use of colour, and the reflection in both the glass and the water surface. Lighting is masterful - I think the lower lighting on the fingers works well.
This is just the sort of "ideas" shot that I love finding on this site. |

Glass in the makingby ingannaComment: Powerful use of colours and darkness, here. I can't quite see enough to understand exactly what is happening, which bugs me a little. But they be a limitation of my screen, losing some of the subtlety of the original image.
I might have tried cropping just a little more from the left side of the image, but that's being picky. |

Spinning in the Fires of Hellby landcameraComment: There are a few glass-furnace shots in this challenge. Which is fine; they offer the chance to capture some powerful colours and contrasts, it's smart to go and find them for a challenge like this.
My initial reaction to this was to suggest a broader aspect ratio, with some more elements introduced to the right to lead us to the furnace. But the more I look at it, the more I think you've got it right as it is. My eye is taken from the top of the composition to the bottom, courtesy of the slightly ajar furnace door. I like it. |

Glass Plus Sun=Energyby eaglebeckComment: Nicely composed. The reflection of the sun and sky on the glass is great.
I might have tried overlapping the glass with its shadow slightly, to allow for a less skinny aspect-ratio, and to make it a little less half-&-half.
Why did you make it monochrome? I can see potential for great use of colour, here. |

Exploding Sunby roby21112Comment: A powerful visual effect. A classic example of "looking where others look, and seeing what no-one else sees". |
