city lifeby tateComment: Just scrolling, this one caught my eye. The composition is great and it is just a perfect shot for this. Only negative thing is the "canopy-ish" thing on the left over what would be the door I guess. Still, great shot and I hope this one does well. |

Boats of the Andaman Sea by orvaratliComment: I really like this picture but I think the one of the same subject but different angle was a little stronger compositionally other than the fact that the end of the boat on the far left is cropped out. Good Job. |

Sunrise Waves by hotpastaComment: Black and White was a good choice. In the color version the color in the big one doesnt really go as well with the other two. Here they are all harmonious. All 3 shots are excellent. |

Gingko Tree 1270 A.D.by BHusemanComment: This isn't a bad shot. However, the color seems a little dull and in IR's you usually want the colors (especially the whites) to jump out at you. Compositionally its pretty standard; centered, kinda plain but for this subject matter there really isn't much else you can do with it without losing detail. I think it might be cool to see it at more of an eye level view so that there is more sky, less ground, and it doesnt seem like you're looking up at it so much. But again, I dont really know if that's possible since I wasn't there. Also, if you're good at editing it might be nice to clone out some of the trees, or at least the one on the far right just poking itself into the frame. Overall, I think it is a good picture, I really like these trees. I would also like to see it not in IR, B&W might be nice. Sorry, if that wasn't the kind of comment/critique you wanted. |

The villageby MephistoComment: I really like these globe pano's. What software do you use to stitch them together and then make them like this? If you could like message me it or something that would be great. Message edited by author 2007-04-25 23:07:03. |
