Manchester's Sport-CITYby clp1000Comment: I like the colors and the contrast, but the bright light keeps yanking my eye away from the rest of the image. For me, I suspect cropping landscape and only including the field, fence, and stands would have made the picture more successful. |

Lets celebrate my victoryby SimpaComment: I've held off on voting on this for a couple days now trying to decide if a picture can meet challenge simply by the title. It is a good picture, albeit a little dark for my preference and the floating highlight in the upper-left quadrant is a little distracting. If there was something sports, or even game, related in the shot, I would have scored higher, probably a 6 or a 7, but after voting on everything else, I just can't bring myself to do it. 4 |

After the Last Gunby nparekhComment: There's some trippy illusion going on here. I actually broke out a ruler trying to figure out why the shot feels like it's leaning to the right. Good shot, though. |

Old Schoolby gocComment: Beautiful! I love the lighting and the tonal range on this, and I'm so glad you didn't center the ball. |

I can't believe we lost this gameby dfstevensonComment: Ooh, a tough one! Without the person, this would have been just another picture of seats. With the person, it technically DNMC. I like the shot, though, and so does my wife :-) 6 |

Praying Playerby jstnknightComment: Nice shot. Too bad the selective color will probably mean a dq. Even if not, you'll be dinged for people in. I like it, though. 6. |

Youth Footballby sdrawkcabComment: I'm sure you've been dinged for having people in the shot. The focus is really a problem here, too. Tough call... from what I see, I'd guess that you had to shoot before the people left or you would have lost the lighting. |

Blue Shoesby loveComment: I can't quite tell what I'm looking at here. The shoe placement in the frame is good, but the red things above get a bit busy, and it feels like there's a cyan cast to the picture. |

descendingby cpo06Comment: That top section of railing is distracting to me. I don't know if I would have moved farther forward to get rid of the chunk in the lower right or moved back to include the whole piece, but the way it is doesn't seem right. Beyond that, though, nice image. The contrast and lighting work nicely, and the slightly off-center arrangement helps keep it from being too static. |
