Just a dumbell by kiwinessComment: Beautiful liquid-lilke feel to the lighting contrasting against the sharpness of the 2KG stamp. Well done - not overexposed, not underexposed - not oversharpened, not too blurry. I guess I'm trying to say all pieces are well done with this one. |

Keyboard Dusterby DigiPiqueComment: Fun entry. Great two color combination. Interesting lines going in all directions and your use of depth of focus really brings my eyes slamming into the center of the image - every time they try to leave they get drawn back to the middle. Well done. |

Lady Irisby scab-labComment: Critique: Macro? Leaf cut off on the side is also a bit distracting.
Praise: Wonderful shadows and detail throughout. Black background really lets the subject stand out and be noticed. Color saturation is excellent and the lighting is very well done. Overall this is nicely done. |

No Mistakesby ShiiizzzamComment: Critique: All lines lead my eyes outside of the image rather than into it. This just makes it harder to stay "inside" the picture.
Praise: Great colors, sharp focus and obvious attention to detail makes this a very appealing image overall. I like it. |

Step Up to the Mikeby alanfreedComment: Great use of depth of focus and lens choice. Your composition really makes me feel as if I'm at the mike getting ready to . . . . well a thousand possibilities. This is what makes this an excellent image to me - the stories I can create with it. |

Metalworksby GeocideComment: Excellent! The narrow tonal range in this image really accents the textures and shapes. Good use of depth of focus. This is a very interesting image. |

Color Wheelby kandyjComment: Critique: a little grainy and a bit overexposed (on my monitor at least)
Praise: Fun entry. Its abstractness is not distracting and the colors and lines here are well composed. There is a lot to look at here to keep my eyes interested. |

On Pap's Workbenchby OneSweetSinComment: Critique: because its so out of focus this detracts from the overall quality quite a bit
Praise: great subject matter, good composition and use of multiple textures (wood and metals). I really like these old time images. |

Five Seconds by abh1Comment: This is well done. I actually wanted to try and do an image like this for another project I have, but I haven't yet tried. The clarity and the detail (absent the dust) is excellent.
Good win for you! |

You Wish !!by miss parkerComment: Great DOF here - this leaves me thinking of a timeless image. The seats look new, but the overall feel is one of maybe a 1950's subway photograph. I liked this one a lot - z |
