A visit from the Critique Club :)
Things I really like about this image is the repeating shapes of the chairs, perfect depth of field, the antique tone and almost perfect exposure. I find especially interesting the patterns from the sun on the walkway. This train is very clean, not like our New York subways and railroad :(
There are a few things I am disappointed at, for example the slight tilt of the camera to the left. This draws more attention to the overexposed windows to the left. Also, this photo seems kind of desolate, I really wish there were more people in the photo. The connection to the challenge would have been even stronger. |

| A nice crisp image fully utilizing the contrasts possible in b/w. It's also a nice comment on the theme with the empty seats waiting to be filled with purpose and direction. |

| Great DOF here - this leaves me thinking of a timeless image. The seats look new, but the overall feel is one of maybe a 1950's subway photograph. I liked this one a lot - z |

| The black and white effect really makes the train look fresh, clean and bright. Good work. You're right... I wish! Nice framing and balance although it feels like the train is tilting to the left ever so slightly - or perhaps you stood very slightly off centre? Nice work! |
