Great clarity.
My favorite thing about these long spike flowers, like foxtail and red hot poker, is the way the florets mature in levels. The bottom will be finished while the middle is in bloom and the top not opened yet. |

It's not that I didn't have problems with the calla Lilly, I took about 45 shots. Most were blown, and half the rest has a distracting leaf behind the bloom. I kept 4 shots. I don't miss film at all. I would never have shot 2 rolls for 1 flower shot. |

Maybe small sea creatures. Truly engaging.
Wish the DOF was a tad wider so a bit of the petals was in focus. Beautiful shot.

Foxglove is one of those vaguely sinister plants (poisonous) and I think the color tones bring some of that out. |

Aside from the silly face thing (which makes me smile) I like the way the yellow bracts look more like leaves than flowers. The white blooms have great detail and some true white without being blown out. |
